I have lovely memories of chatting to Lou either in the library at the ICRF or in the pub. We often chatted about how we hoped to have a child at some point. As it happened we both had daughters very close in age to each other. Lou was lovely to chat to, I shall always remember her, and I am so glad that I got in touch again with her a few months ago and managed to spend a lovely afternoon chatting over old times, it was as if no time had passed between us. My thoughts are with Ella and family and friends. Love, Vivienne

Louise was a great librarian and excellent colleague. We wrote the catalogue of an exhibition together last year and this is in the Queen Square Library and will remain a permanent tribute to her. We miss her wonderful spirit and bravery. Simon Shorvon
